Privacy, the short ledger
This is a fan journal, not a data operation. Here is everything we do with your information — a list short enough to read before your next run starts.
What we collect
Effectively one thing: your cookie-banner choice, stored in your own browser's local storage under a single key (laneledger_cookie_choice). It exists so the notice doesn't reappear on every visit. It never leaves your device and contains no personal details.
The contact form on this site is a demonstration form. It validates your input locally in your browser and shows a confirmation message. Nothing you type is transmitted to us or to anyone else — it never leaves the page you're viewing.
What we don't do
- We don't run analytics, trackers or advertising scripts of any kind.
- We don't collect accounts, passwords or personal profiles — the site has no login.
- We don't sell, share or "monetize" data. There is no data to sell.
- We don't set server-side cookies. The only stored value is the local preference above.
Children
Chicken Road is written for a general audience in plain language, and it is an informational fan project. We collect no personal information from any visitor, of any age — there is simply nothing here to collect.
Your choices
You can clear the stored preference at any time by clearing your browser's site data or local storage for this site. The cookie banner will politely reappear on your next visit, as is its nature. Details of what the preference does are on our cookie policy page.
Third-party pages
Our pages link only to pages within this project. We don't embed third-party content, so your visit stays between you, the lanes, and this journal.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the change will be described on this page in plain language, dated, and probably mentioned in the field wire ticker as well.
